New Faces At No. 1 In Arizona, SoCal Barely Blinks

Week 11 boards for Arizona and SoCal landed October 27, with Arizona handing out three new crowns while SoCal's top tier mostly sat right where it was.

Arizona has a new name at the top of the quarterback board. Jason Haines of Liberty is No. 1 at quarterback in Arizona at a 90 SPIN, Elite, and Tee Smith of Casteel is the one who had to hand it over in a 194-player field.

Centennial is doing just fine. Luke Franklin sits No. 1 at defensive lineman in Arizona at a 98 SPIN, Elite National, taking the spot from Ian Fullmer of Pinnacle, and Aidan Torres took over No. 1 at linebacker in Arizona at a 93 SPIN, Elite, from Jayden Arnold of Chandler. Torrin Hill makes it a clean sweep of the building's top floor at No. 1 at tight end in Arizona, 97 SPIN, Elite National.

The Arizona climbing was loudest in the secondary, where Kadin Young of Liberty jumped 20 spots to No. 25 at defensive back in Arizona and Ryder Noche of Brophy College Prep moved 16 to No. 14. Justin Miller of Basha went up 14 to No. 25 at running back. Jai Jones of Chandler went the other way, down 10 to No. 21 at wide receiver in Arizona.

One new name appeared in Arizona all week. Dominick Barjona of Williams Field debuted at No. 14 at quarterback.

SoCal runs on nines. Tegan Ogas of Norco holds No. 1 at tight end at a 99 SPIN, Generational, Braylin Spencer of JSerra Catholic owns linebacker at a 99 SPIN, Generational, and Caleb Joy of Chaparral is No. 1 at defensive lineman at the same 99, Generational. St. John Bosco answers with Maliq Allen at No. 1 at running back in SoCal and Kuika Moaalii at No. 1 at wide receiver, both at a 98 SPIN, Elite National.

The one real shakeup came at defensive back, where Ca'ron Williams of Santa Margarita is now No. 1 in SoCal at a 97 SPIN, Elite National, and King Rich Johnson of Orange Lutheran is not. Behind him, in a board holding 2,862 rated players, Andre Pommells of Centennial moved 51 spots to No. 23. That is not a nudge. That is a sprint through traffic.

Elsewhere in SoCal, Mikey Baeza of San Dimas rose 20 to No. 14 at tight end and Bryce Warner of Mission Viejo climbed 28 to No. 20 at linebacker. Jojo Reed of Mission Viejo added 26 spots to land at No. 15 at defensive back.

SoCal has three players sitting on a 99. Arizona's best number this week is a 98, and somebody in Peoria is already working on that.
