Folsom has four names at the top of this thing or climbing toward it, and that is before you get to the part where CJ Wallace IV grabbed No. 1 at defensive back in NorCal at a 96 Elite National. Nate Anzelc held that chair last week. He does not hold it now.
Wallace is not alone in green. EJ Coleman sits No. 1 at linebacker in NorCal at a 93 Elite, taking the spot from Grant's Julian "JuJu" Bruno, who slid five to No. 6. Teammate Juelle McDowell moved 30 spots to No. 16 at defensive back, the biggest leap on any NorCal board this week.
The heaviest number in the whole file belongs to Clovis. Brixton Bridger is No. 1 at defensive lineman in NorCal at a 97 Elite National, and he took that from Case Borges of Tracy. Clovis teammate Dayne Williams jumped 17 to No. 15, so the pipeline is doing fine.
Brennen Gibbs stayed put at No. 1 at wide receiver in NorCal with a 95 Elite National, which is the good news for Del Oro. The less good news is that Grayson Haugen dropped five to No. 20 at quarterback. NorCal rated 4,917 players this week, and 1,592 of them were defensive backs, so getting anywhere near the top twenty there means something.
Nevada is a Bishop Gorman story again. Tamatoa Gaoteote is No. 1 at linebacker in Nevada at a 98 Elite National, the highest mark in either state, and Gorman also owns the top spot at running back with Corey Hinton at an 87 All-State and at defensive lineman with Caleb Lea'Ea at a 91 Elite.
Then there is Alvin Pollard of Desert Pines, who moved 153 spots to No. 20 at linebacker in Nevada. You do not see that often. Desert Pines also placed Kru Brown straight in at No. 10 at tight end in Nevada, a position with only 34 rated players statewide, and Jerome Jackson climbed nine to No. 20 at quarterback.
Coronado's Governor Richburg debuts at No. 25 at quarterback in Nevada. Best name in the file, and now he has a number next to it.
