What the board says

Three of the top five did not play at all, and four more moved to Thursday because every Clark County school shifted for Rosh Hashanah. That leaves a board that barely showed up and a week that settles very little.

The one loss came from out of state. Morgan is a Utah school on nobody's board, and it came to Las Vegas and put 54 on the eighth-ranked team in Nevada.

Churchill County is settled at 51-0. We held that score back overnight with three different finals circulating. The 58-0 belonged to a different game entirely, Spring Creek over Sparks on August 28. The 16-0 corresponds to nothing at any level. The Greenwave are 5-0.

The north keeps taking up more of this board. Churchill County and Damonte Ranch are both unbeaten at second and seventh.
