Basha has been the No. 1 team in Arizona since the preseason. It is not anymore.
Orange Lutheran beat the Bears 23-17 at Orange Coast College, and Hamilton takes the state on the back of a 44-0 shutout of Arbor View of Las Vegas. Hamilton has given up six points in two games.

Four wins over ranked teams, three states, one evening
Liberty of Peoria beat Corner Canyon of Draper, Utah 38-24 and is the biggest riser on our national board, up 25 places to 21st. Centennial of Peoria drove into Anaheim and beat Servite 22-14. Chandler hung 42 on Cathedral Catholic of San Diego and won by 29.
This is a state that used to spend the whole of September playing itself. It now has five teams on the national 100.
Chandler falls a place having won by 29, which sounds unfair and is not. The two teams above it also won, and one of them beat Utah's best team.
Basha at third is not a demotion about one result
Six points on a neutral field is not a collapse. The 37-26 over Chandler is still the best in-state result anybody in Arizona owns, and Basha is 39th in the country. It sits third because Hamilton and Liberty both won and it did not.
Williams Field comes on at ninth at 2-0. It beat Campo Verde 49-21 and then won 35-17 at Queen Creek, a team that had beaten Higley. That is the best off-board resume in the state.
Desert Edge is 2-0 with no points allowed in two games, including a 52-0 over Cienega. Desert Mountain drops two despite winning by 28, passed by teams that won by more against better, and it still owns the largest margin any Arizona board team has, 62-0 over Saguaro.
Pinnacle falls to tenth after losing 26-15 at home to Mountain View of Mesa, which is the most forgivable loss available on this board.
