Below: a Top 25 at every position across Utah, a Top 10 for each classification where enough players are rated to make one, and a Two-Way Top 25. Ratings run 25 to 99 on one national scale. GP is games played, and Schedule reads Heavy, Standard or Light against the national field.

Two-Way board: a player qualifies only when he is rated on an offensive board and a defensive board in the same season and each side is real, meaning real production on that side in most of the games he played. The Two-Way rating is the average of his two sides on the same national scale. Games with production counts games with a stat on that side, not games dressed.
POP, Production Over Potential, is a player's live SPIN production rating during the season. It measures what he has produced on the field, adjusted for the level of competition he faced and credited for the games he showed up and produced in. They are not recruiting rankings, which rate potential. Ratings run 25 to 99 on a national scale, position by position: 60 is a typical starter, 70 a good starter, 80 all-region, 90 elite. A player's rating is the same on his class board and the overall board. Schedule reads Heavy, Standard or Light against the national field. SPIN uses the most official statistics available for each player: some are publicly available, some are brought to us by programs and verified, and some come from official organizations. Every line on a published board goes through our checks before it counts, and when a line could not be verified we say so. Ratings use box scores as each program posts them. Some programs post only part of their season; where too little of a program's season is posted, its players are held off the boards, and known gaps are marked.
