Centennial lost again, and it still holds fifth
Centennial of Corona went to Berkeley on Saturday and lost 35-32 to De La Salle, first on our NorCal board. That is three losses for the Huskies, to Santa Margarita, Mater Dei and De La Salle, by one, one and three points.
A team that has done that does not fall below Orange Lutheran or Mission Viejo, and it does not here. Centennial holds fifth. Nationally it drops five places to 25th on the SPIN Power 100 and stays inside the top 25.
Two unbeatens kept winning
Sierra Canyon beat Pacifica of Oxnard 42-10 and is 5-0. It is second here and seventh in the country. San Clemente won 42-13 at Murrieta Valley and is 5-0, ninth on this board.
Friday is the week this board has been waiting for
The Trinity League comes back on Friday, October 2, and it comes back with Mater Dei against Santa Margarita. Santa Margarita is first here and second nationally. Mater Dei is fourth here and 19th nationally, and it is the team that beat Centennial 10-9. This board will move after Friday.
