A correction
Last week we dropped The St. James Performance Academy from 47th to 92nd. That was an editor oversight, and it should never have happened.
The St. James had IMG Academy on the ropes Saturday night and lost 44-42 in the final seconds. It is a top 20 team, and this week it is 18th.
Next up for the Strivers is No. 1 St. Frances Academy, at home, this weekend. We think it will be a very close game, and it is a prove-it game for The St. James.
Baylor moves up to fourth
Baylor School beat McCallie 49-7 and moves up to fourth. St. Thomas Aquinas needed a blocked field goal with 1:23 left to get past Chaminade-Madonna 21-20, and it slides one place to fifth. It is still unbeaten, and it is still one of the five best teams in the country.
Everyone else in the top ten holds. St. Frances Academy won 46-0 at Legacy School of Sport Sciences in Texas. Santa Margarita beat Mater Dei 14-7 to open Trinity League play. IMG Academy is 6-0 after the field goal that beat The St. James. Sierra Canyon beat Loyola 41-0 and Columbus beat Southwest Miami 53-0. Buford, Allen and Bishop Gorman did not play.

Who climbed
The St. James Performance Academy, 92nd to 18th. See above.
Chaminade-Madonna, 33rd to 28th. Chaminade-Madonna led St. Thomas Aquinas 20-7 in the third quarter and lost by a point. That was a great performance against a great team, and it moves up five places.
Bergen Catholic, 57th to 38th. Don Bosco Prep led 24-0 in the second quarter on Saturday. Bergen Catholic won 34-30 on a touchdown pass with 15 seconds left.
Central Catholic of Pittsburgh, 54th to 37th. Central Catholic won 62-0 at Mt. Lebanon. It also beat Bergen Catholic 45-30 in August, so when Bergen Catholic climbed, Central Catholic climbed with it and stays one place ahead.
Grayson, 84th to 61st. Grayson opened the season 0-2, losing to North Gwinnett and Sandy Creek, and lost to Buford in September. On Friday it beat a quality Miami Carol City team 10-9, and it is making moves. It climbs 23 places.
A fight broke out after the game. The Georgia High School Association has suspended four Grayson players for one game and will fine the school, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, and the GHSA and the Florida High School Athletic Association said in a joint statement that each will act on its own member schools.
Raines, 51st to 49th. Raines blocked three Venice field goals, the last one late in the fourth quarter, and won 20-17 to hand Venice its first loss.
Who fell
Don Bosco Prep, 28th to 39th. Don Bosco Prep came in unbeaten and lost a 24-point lead at Bergen Catholic. Eleven places is what a collapse like that costs, and it now sits behind the team that beat it.
Miami Carol City, 45th to 62nd. Carol City is 3-3 and has lost to Lee County and Grayson, both on this board. A one-point loss on the road is not a bad loss on its own, but it is the third on the card, and it drops behind Grayson.
Mater Dei, 19th to 20th, and Venice, 53rd to 55th. Both lost to teams ranked ahead of them, Mater Dei by seven to Santa Margarita and Venice by three at Raines. Neither loss moves them far.
Most of the other drops of one to three places below 18th belong to teams that did not lose. They were passed by The St. James and the three new teams, and the move is not a judgment against any of them.
Chandler, 46th to 48th. Chandler's game at Cactus Canyon was a forfeit. Cactus Canyon canceled the varsity game, and its coach told the Arizona Republic it was not safe for his players after the program lost 29 players to transfers before the season.
Washington of Massillon, 26th to 27th. Massillon did not play Friday; its game with Farrell of Pennsylvania was canceled. The Tigers are 6-0 on the field. The Ohio High School Athletic Association has ruled two of their transfers ineligible and lists Massillon's official record at 1-2 with three games pending, and a court hearing on the transfers' eligibility was scheduled for Tuesday morning. No ruling had been reported when this board was published. We will rank Massillon on that ruling once it is final.
Three in, three out
| In | Rank | Result | Out | Was |

St. Augustine is 5-0, beat John Curtis 42-32 in September, and takes the last open place from Malvern Prep, which is 3-2 with no wins over a team on this board.
