It beat Chandler 37-26 on August 29 and Liberty of Peoria 30-22 on September 18, the third and second teams on this board. It is 3-2. Liberty and Chandler stay ahead of it on the strength of everything else they have done, but a team with two wins over the top of this board belongs in the top four.
Hamilton is still the team to beat
Hamilton won 42-14 at Williams Field and is 5-0. It holds first here and moves up one place to 20th on the SPIN Power 100. Liberty of Peoria beat ALA Queen Creek 43-14 and holds second.
Pinnacle did not play
Pinnacle's game with Saguaro was not played, and it goes in the books as a Pinnacle win by forfeit. Pinnacle is 4-1 and slips one place to fifth, only because Basha moved past it.
Three unbeatens in the middle
Centennial of Peoria beat Casteel 34-17 and is 5-0, and it slips one place to sixth for the same reason as Pinnacle. ALA Gilbert North won 58-0 and Desert Mountain won 65-0, and both are 5-0 and hold.
Desert Edge holds tenth
Desert Edge of Goodyear lost 34-27 at Mountain Pointe and is 3-2. Mountain Pointe is not on this board. It is a seven-point road loss, and Desert Edge holds tenth for now.
