Santa Margarita Holds Mater Dei to Seven. San Clemente Moves Up.

Santa Margarita beat Mater Dei 14-7 to open Trinity League play and holds first. Mater Dei holds fourth. A seven-point loss to the No. 1 team in the region does not move it.

Sierra Canyon beat Loyola 41-0 and holds second. St. John Bosco beat JSerra 40-14 and holds third. Centennial of Corona won 65-14 at Vista Murrieta, Orange Lutheran beat Servite 56-21 and Mission Viejo beat Edison 42-14. All three hold.

San Clemente beat Yorba Linda 28-0, is 6-0 and moves up one to eighth. JSerra drops one to ninth. Carlsbad won 30-7 at Torrey Pines and holds 10th.
