What Friday does
The Desert West went through Desert Edge last season. If Canyon View wins in Goodyear, it takes the head to head and a 1-0 start in a region Desert Edge won unbeaten. A Desert Edge win ends its two game losing streak and gives it the first step toward defending the region title.
Kickoff is 7:00 PM in Arizona, 8:00 PM in Utah. The game airs on Arizona's Family Sports and streams on the NFHS Network.
