Every team on the Arizona Top 10 played this week. Two of them lost. Both losses came against another team on this board.

Tenth beat third by 33
Basha went to Phoenix and lost 40-7 to Pinnacle.
Pinnacle came into the night tenth in the state at 1-1, having fallen there after losing 26-15 at home to Mountain View of Mesa. Basha came in third at 1-1 and 39th in the country, having lost the state's top line eight days earlier to Orange Lutheran.
It is the largest margin any Arizona board team has put on another this season, and it is the single biggest result on any SPIN board this week.
What it says about Basha is not complicated. A team that loses by six and then by 33 is a team the board had too high. What it says about Orange Lutheran, which beat Basha first, is less than people will claim.
Centennial of Peoria settled the other one
Fourth beat sixth, 27-3, Centennial of Peoria over Mountain View of Mesa. Both came in 2-0. Only one is now.
That is the second board-versus-board game of the week and it went to the higher-ranked team by 24, which is the opposite of what happened in Phoenix.
The top two did what the top two do, one of them narrowly
Hamilton beat Perry 30-22 and it was the closest thing to trouble at the top of this board. Hamilton has the state's No. 1 line and had allowed six points in two games coming into this stretch. It gave up 22 on Friday.
Liberty of Peoria beat Highland 41-7. Liberty is 21st in the country now, up 25 places on the national board a week ago, and it is the team in this state with the best case for being underrated rather than overrated.
Chandler won 42-10 at Salpointe Catholic in Tucson. Williams Field, which came onto this board at ninth a week ago, won 33-23 at Corona del Sol.
And Thursday
Desert Edge beat Notre Dame Prep 46-7 at home. Desert Mountain went to Marana and beat Mountain View 65-0, which is still the largest margin any team on this board owns.
Ten teams, ten games, eight wins, and the only two losses were inside the family. Arizona has spent this season insisting it is deeper than people think. Friday was the cleanest evidence yet, and it arrived on a night its third-best team lost by 33.
