SPIN results card showing Mountain Ridge 42, Lone Peak 3, final, November 6, 2026.

Mountain Ridge 42, Lone Peak 3. That is the whole story and most of the sequel.

The 6 p.m. MT kickoff Friday in Herriman gave this one a full night to breathe, and it did not need anywhere near that much air. Thirty-nine points is the kind of margin that stops being a scoreboard and starts being a weather report, and Lone Peak's three points tell you the Knights spent the evening looking for footing they never quite found. Both programs play 6A football in Utah. Only one of them played like it on Nov. 6.

Neither side carried a number into this one, so there is no board math to do here, no rank to cite, no movement to track. Just a final, a date, and a host that handled its business in front of the home lights.

Forty-two to three in Herriman. Lone Peak will want that Friday back, and it is not coming.

The 6A hosts turned a Friday night in Herriman into a 39-point evening, holding Lone Peak to three points on Nov. 6.

SPIN results card showing Skyridge 28, American Fork 21, final, November 6, 2026.

Seven points. That's the whole story and the whole margin, and at Skyridge on Friday night it was enough. The Falcons took it 28-21 over American Fork on Nov. 6, kickoff at 6 p.m. MT, two 6A programs splitting the difference by a single score.

Here's what a seven-point game means without the box score in front of you. Neither side got to relax. Twenty-eight and 21 is the kind of final that leaves both benches standing the whole way, and American Fork was close enough all night that the Cavemen never became a footnote in it. Skyridge just happened to be the one holding the extra score when the thing ended.

No ranks attached to either team here, no board date to cite, nothing but a number on each side and a host that kept its number bigger. Sometimes that's the cleanest way to read a football game.

Skyridge 28, American Fork 21. Lehi keeps it.

The Falcons handled the Cavemen by seven under the lights in Lehi, a Friday night 6A meeting that finished 28-21.
