CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — This is the best statline of the national slate and it is not close.
Louis Fortier went 19-of-23 for 441 yards and four touchdowns. Three hundred and forty-five of those yards and all four scores came in the first half, three of them to Mikey Bartlett and one to Pat Meyers, per Mark Wiedmer of Chattanoogan.com.
St. Mary's Ryken scored first and led 7-0. McCallie scored the next 34 and it was 41-17 at the half, 55-17 early in the third.
Macc Chapin carried 12 times for 90 yards and added two third-quarter touchdowns. Jabari Jennings caught four for 56.
Nicholas Reisinger was 13-of-21 for 148 with two touchdowns and two interceptions for Ryken; Malachi Milburn ran 14 times for 91.
A running clock covered most of the second half. SPIN's No. 50 has an argument to make on Monday.
